C'estTime electronic timekeeping is fully embedded in Light2, CCAS's financial and project cost accounting system. It can be “activated” at the time of Light2 purchase or at any later time. C'estTime will also run independent of Light2 and will export its data for use in other applications.
Access to C'estTime is allowed to individual employees who must provide their User ID and Password to gain access. Managers (who are also employees) can review and approve, or comment on, employee time charges. A complete log is maintained of all user activity . C'estTime and Light2 have been approved at user sites across the US by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
Time charges of employees, along with associated notes, are recorded by employees as they occur. Employees select the activity/proejct, the number of hours worked, and the pay “type” associated with their charge. C'estTime automatically completes these entries with labor category data as established for the employee for the given activity, or project.
