Quality Management

The Quality Management software add-on for Sage MAS 500 coupled with document control makes ISO/QS/TS 900 compliance as simplistic as possible. The system will allow you to define attributes, establishe standardized testing, and record quality results for analysis and reporting. You are able to conduct quality tests randomly for any inventory transaction. The Quality Management software is the complete answer to improving your product quality and labor procedures:

• Attribute Definition - You can define attributes that judge the quality of products. Examples of attributes include weight, length, volume, color, style, etc.
• Attribute Descriptions - Each attribute can have a description (up to 50 characters) associated with it.
• Unit of Measure - Track an unlimited number of cost models and define them for different groups of items and/or work centers. Define different cost models for different dates of deployment or to model projected cost changes.
• Numeric Attributes - You can setup any numeric attributes you need within the system. These numeric attributes are measured against a valid range, which includes an optimal value with an upper and lower limit defining acceptable ranges.
• List Attributes - You are able to setup an endless array of attribute values. Lists are commonly used for things such as color, style, model, version, grade, size, etc. These list attributes are then defined with a pass/fail result.
• Overall Fail Tolerances - You are able to setup overall fail tolerance for an attribute, such that if over a certain percentage of a product has a fail rate that is deemed to be unacceptable, the entire transaction will fail.
• Lot Characteristics - You are able to use any attribute as a lot characteristics.
• Test Procedures - The system allows you to define when and how to preform quality test results. Test Procedures can contain a single or multiple steps. You can also define the sample size for testing.
• Retest - If you need to retest samples to validate initial test results, the system will allow you to permit this action for any procedure marked as “allow retest.”
