Work Order Allocations

The Work Order Allocations software add-on for Sage MAS 500 will show you which work orders can be released to production by verifying that you have required materials on hand. This enhancement helps planners prioritize material allocations based on work order dates, priority codes, and other useful criteria. Some of the other features available with the Work Order Allocations enhancement include:

• Manage Dependent Demand - You can use Work Order Allocations in conjunction with the Sub Work Order enhancement software to manage demand that is dependent on parent work orders.
• Save Allocation Settings - You can define multiple settings for automatically running work order allocations, ensuring that materials are allocated the way you desire.
• Soft Allocation - This system will not remove available inventory from being sold, shipped or transferred, all it does is make a soft commitment between the inventory item and the work order.
• Undo Allocations - All allocations can be undone, making materials available for allocations to other work orders
• Work Order Steps - You can allocate materials to specific work order steps
