The D-BIT Compress data files utility installs as a separate ACCPAC Plus, Start List item to address the need to sequence random records and release disk space occupied by “deleted” records. It can be used to identify and in many cases corrects common database integrity errors such as “Random pointer out of range”, “Random key mismatch” and “Random file size not a multiple of record length”.
