ARK Systems has developed a software program to simplify many of the day to day procedures performed by Freight Forwarders. From one program, you can track waybill and customer information on screen, printing various forms, fax pickup alerts, and gather data for auditing and accounting.
Rather than searching frantically though slips of paper or piles of waybills when a customer calls, instantly pull up a complete profile of an order for that customer. If they can't remember the waybill number, simply search by customer, airline, origin, destination, date, etc. Automatically fill in redundant information on a customer, agent, or airline. Remove the “little yellow stickies” clutter from your desk by storing notes on screen. Prevent errors by allowing the program to compute rates, commissions, and charges based on shipment weight and value.
Once customer information has been entered, you can print house waybills, airline waybills, control cards, agent alerts, labels, and customer invoices. Various printers and network configurations are supported, as well as automatic faxing of forms and agent alerts.
Because the program tracks both income and expenses per transaction, there are reports available at any time covering sales by customer, commissions paid, profit margin by month and waybill, customer lists, agent lists, etc. With the optional Report Writer, it is possible to create a report, form letter, label, or query on any data in the system.
The Waybill Tracking System also exports invoices to an accounting package so there is no re-keying data for Accounts Receivable. Optionally, you can use our built-in Receivables. This, in turn, ties into accounts payable, payroll, and general ledgers, so up-to-date financial statements are always available.
