External UPC Databases
WinSale has Built-In shoe/clothing UPC lookup for easy reference and entry for the following vendors: Dansko, Carolina Shoes, Red Wing, Wolverine, Sebago, Johnson/ Murphy. Soft Spot, Carhartt, Enro Shirt, Hush Puppies, Levi Stauss, New Balance, SAS, Bates, Harley Davidson, Nautilus, Rockport, Irish Setter, Worx, Caterpillar, Converse, Florsheim, Rucks, Ultra, Merrell, New Drew and Vasque. This database contains over 600,000 UPC codes.
These external databases are used to allow you to add new products into your inventory easily. Simply scan any of the above vendors products and if they are not found in your current inventory database they can automatically be added into your inventory with extreme ease.
Hardware Requirements: Any IBM ot IBM compatible Pentium III 850 MHZ or higher 256 MB of memory is required for optimal performance. A 10 GB hard drive or larger is required.
Networking: Windows 2000 built-in network neighborhood.
Printers: At least one Laserjet or inkjet printer is recommended for reports. Receipt printers are recommended for POS stations.
Remote Communications and Support: Internet connection. Dedicated email per location for remote communications.
Additional Hardware: WinSale supports most Point of Sale Hardware, including, cash drawers, bar code printers and scanners, pole displys, portable hand held inventory devices, credit card readers, etc.
