Employees can generate and print timesheets for the current and any prior pay period. Changes to timesheet entries are allowed up until the time the employees charges have been apporved by a Project or Division Manager and posted by accounting. Timesheet changes that are necessary after timesheet approval and posting are made directly by accounting operations.

In addition to entering their own time, Project and Division Managers will review and approve the charges of employees associated with their responsibility areas. Managers can send e-mail to employees regarding their chages at any time. Additionally, Executive and Division Managers can review staff utilization and timesheet completion status at any time, for any pay period. All reports generated by C'estTime's Web browser interface can be printed and/or saved.

All charges of all employees are always visible to authorized accounting users of Light2. At the same time, these entries only become “formal” entries when accounting posts the entries - either individually or as a batch process. Complete labor analysis and management reports are available. These reports can include both posted and unposted charges. Light2 and C'estTime support weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, and monthly pay periods simultaneously.

Included in C'estTime is manloading functionality. Project and Division Manager's can “map” employees to projects, both direct and indirect, for current and future periods. Managers will enter the projected hours and labor categories of employees relative to activities. Reports are provided that detail the results of any manloading peformed and provide forecasted vs. actual costs analysis.
