Materials management provides powerful, integrated control of all receipt, disbursement, usage, storage and costing of materials whether physical or service related. Allows for detailed product and materials descriptions for raw materials or finished goods. Supports multiple images and multiple views of products. Connects seamlessly to Total e-Biz electronic commerce module.

• Quickly attribute characteristics of existing materials to new materials shipment with the bulk materials setup
• Configure evaluation categories to accurately attribute cost and materials usage features to stock and raw materials
• Configure evaluation classes to identify materials as raw materials, sellable goods, customer stock, vendor stock or special stock. Refine each class with costing designations like FIFO, LIFO, average costs or standard costs.
• Ability to add your own evaluation classes, at random
• Configure industry sectors such as products for end users, products for distributors or products for manufacturers. Easily add other custom industry sectors.
• Configure stock layers classes as available, reserved for current orders, reserved for future orders, pending quality inspection, pending other inspection, reserved for future production, reserved for current production, temporarily resides in vendor stock, temporarily resides in customer stock, frozen for inventory, reserved for other reasons or ATP – last resort. Create any number of additional custom stock layers

• Materials stock layer revaluations to account for fluctuations in value of in-stock materials or finished goods; eg, price of gold for jewelry manufacturer
• Perform 21 built in searches including by catalog membership, category membership, evaluation class, fixed selling price, fixed unit cost, handling method, hazardous method, industry sector, internet price, location membership, material description, material number, material type, pricing class, release method, standard cost, by supplier, by UPC, by user defined field, by vendor and by weight. All searches are also accessible from the materials feature

• Material kits, Material master kits and Print master kits allows you to create customized material groupings, as is appropriate for your business. Ability to import kits and master kits into a Sales Order is standard.
• Work orders features allow you to create work order, as necessary for your business. Ability to import work orders into Sales Orders and to report on those, at random.
