The General Ledger Module of ALERE Accounting is responsible for all activities related to managing the general ledger.

Chart of Accounts utilizes TIW’s trademarked Treevision and allows you to drill down to account balances and general ledger posting.

Features include FETCH, an alphanumeric chart of accounts with up to 24 characters and six segments, a fiscal year that will support up to 99 periods, Business Consolidation financials, dated Income Statements and detailed notes for Journal Entries.

ALERE is a real time system which means that a GL transaction from anywhere in the program is instantly posted to the GL and available for review.

Periods are closed automatically so critical reports like Balance Sheets and Income Statements are immediately available and up to date.

Distribution templates that use percentages only require a single amount to be entered for the entire journal entry to be created.

Income Statements by segments allows options of being produced by subcategory and segment.
