Sage PFW ERP's Sales Order module will automate the processing of your sales orders, from order entry to printing and posting work orders, interactively relieving inventory, printing packing slips and bills of lading, printing and posting invoices, and maintaining sales history data for planning and analysis.
Sales Order Entry -
Sage PFW ERP's sales order enty option makes it easy for you to enter your sales orders. A series of tabs display the header information that you will see at the top of your work order when it is printed. You will have previously defined much of this information, so that you can enter it just by entering a key. As you process your sales order Sage PFW ERP will automatically assign a status so that you can see in your reports just how far along each order is in the process from start to finish. When you are entering your customer sales orders, you can switch between weight and volume for raw materials and weight, volume, and each for finished goods. You can switch to any other unit of measure that you have defined in Materials/Inventory and attached to an item.
Price Tables -
Sage PFW ERP's price tables and other pricing options provide total flexibility in establishing selling prices for your product. For example, one product can have the same price for awide variety of cutomers while another product can have it's own price for each individual customer. You could even set up a price which applied to most customers with other customers getting special pricing on the same item or class of items. In addition, those prices can be based on the quantity purchased: greater the quantity the better the price.
Contract Pricing -
You can define contract prices for special customers which will automatically override the regular price tables. Contract pricing enables you to offer special prices which can take effect and expire on precise dates and commit the customer to buying a set quantity or dollar value of the product.
Commissions -
Sage PFW ERP can calculate two types of commissions. They are Sales Commission and Inventory Commissions. Sales Commission tables can be set up to provide incentive for up to 10 levels of either total sales or gross profit. Inventory Commissions can be set up for individual items, so that a special commission for the item will be available for a period of time that you have defined in the Inventory Commission file. This allows you to offer special commissions on items of which you may have a surplus
stock, or other incentive arrangements. Sage PFW ERP can also provide split commissions, where a customer's total sales commission can be split among a sales team in any percentage you desire.
