Accounts Payable writes checks and tracks credits, discounts, partial payments, and recurring obligations, enabling you to effectively manage your business expenses. It includes numerous vendor and payable inquiries as well as an extensive library of expense analysis reports. It also displays credit card transactions to track each purchase.
Accounts Payable Features
- Selects and calculates early payment discounts.
- Displays total accounts payable and approved-to-pay amounts.
- Allows unlimited partial payments on open invoices.
- Permits user-defined periods for aging payables.
- Permits 14 payment priorities to prioritize invoice payment.
- Allows an unlimited number of checking accounts.
- Allows the user to create invoices manually or match them up to purchase order receipts.
- Allows non-check payments of invoices, such as wire transfers.
- Allows the user to view just the invoices that meet specified criteria (vendor, discount date, invoice date, etc.) and approve or disapprove, in part or in full with the flexible Approve to Pay feature.
- Allows the user to continue to enter AP payments after year-end close with the seperate 1099 closing option.
- Prints 1099 forms to laser printers, with an option to include a 1099 form above a minimum dollar amount. The 1099 forms can be printed for a previous year at any time and can be filed electronically.
- Allows the user to specify a prior date to produce Aging reports, with the As of Aging feature.
Standard Reports
Each report can be customized from a matrix of user-selected options, and can be displayed, printed, exported to a spreadsheet, faxed, emailed or saved on disk. Some of the reports included are:
