Upon entering general client information into Timeslips by Sage, each client can be sub-categorized by jobs (also referred to as matters or projects) and each job can be further broken down into phases. Timeslips by Sage also offers you the same flexibility and control over the rates in which you bill your clients. With its extensive rate tables and rate rules engine you may charge a client a rate based on a particular combination of timekeeper, client and/or task. For example, you may normally charge a client $100/hour for work performed by a particular timekeeper. However, for certain tasks, a different rate may be appropriate. Use Timeslips' unique Rate Rule Entry engine to create and automatic Rate Selection Rule that will automatically charge the client the appropriate amount when the conditions for the rule are met.
