PFM provides control over the management of the purchase of your raw materials, packaging supplies, and other items. Lot traceability, quality control, back orders, and drop shipments are just a few of the capabilities. Linked to MRP, the Purchasing module features real-time tracking, automatic updating of vendors and inventory account balances, and extensive reporting capabilities.

PFM provides detailed access to vendor and product information at the click of a button. Information available includes purchasing history, current inventory levels and costing details, production demand, alternate vendors, lead times, future costs, and more. No more lengthy reports just for a few details.

Purchasing is linked to many other modules in PFM. Purchasing can automatically print Quality Control test forms for incoming product. This product can optionally be quarantined until released through the Quality Control module. Lot traceability is a requirement for many businesses. Lot numbers can be assigned at the time the product is received in. PFM will track this lot through production and sales. Once the purchase order is closed, it becomes available to the Accounts Payable module. The user simply accesses the purchase order for the selected vendor and PFM automatically completes all other required information.
