The Inventory module of OGSYS is a full-featured inventory management system, capable of managing multiple companies, locations, and remote sites. This module will maintain your inventory balances by location (by serial number, optionally), and specify them as attended or unattended. Inventory valuation can be performed by using standard cost, LIFO, FIFO and weighted average methods. The Inventory module can also automatically generate purchase orders based on minimum re-order quantities. A complete history of all inventory transactions is kept, and movement is controlled through Receipts, Transfers, Issues, and Adjustments. This product fully integrates with the fixed asset module, to provide detailed depreciation calculations. Finally, if you deal with non-inventory items, the Inventory module supports the automated tracking and management of such non-inventory items.
