This module supports every process needed in the entire order processing life cycle and related functions, such as: prospect and customer information management, proposal creation, quote creation, sales pipeline monitoring, multiple pricing models, inventory allocation, shipping, manifesting, invoicing, and processing customer returns (RMA). This module is completely integrate to the other GBMS Manufacturing and Distribution Suite allowing the software to support purchase-to-order, build-to-order, configure-to-order, B2B and B2C. The GBMS SOP module allows you to track the status of any sales order and gives you access to detailed information on PO's, work orders, and shipments. Your staff will be able to quickly drill down do view desired related documents. All orders can be easily edited after they have been approved; and the system will check to see which parts of the order have been completed, allowing you to cancel tasks (for the order) that have not already been completed. Additionally, you and you're staff are able to record notes on any order; and all notes are automatically stamped with date, time and employee. All orders are approved electronically and can be imported from other ERP or financial packages you are currently using. This product can easily Handle your backorder processing; and automatically trigger requisitions or PO's for purchase-on-order items.
This Sales Order Processing module allows you to easily enter quotes, track revision history, and conveniently convert a quote to an order. Once integrated into the rest of the GBMS modules, you will enable your staff to have centralized access to each step in the order process. Implemented with the WMS and/or SFC modules, the item types on the order will automatically generate related documents, such as: pick lists for stock items, work orders for build-on-order items, and PO’s for purchase-on-order items. When combined with the WMS and/or SFC modules, you can view product availability, on the same screen used for order entry.
The SOP module allows you to conveniently change bill of materials and routing information during order entry with the configure-to-order (CTO) feature. This feature lets you edit sub-assembly items, whenever a quotation or sales order is added.
Additionally, the SOP module gives you the ability to manage an unlimited number of customers, and customer accounts. You can enter an unlimited number of bill-to and ship-to addresses in each customer account. Integration into other modules allows you to develop customer-specific shipping documents and labels. Furthermore, if you are shipping on behalf of brokers, you can develop labels that have the brokers' name and logo on the labels and reports; making it appear as if the broker is shipping from their facility. This module will store a detailed order history for each customer; this order history stores quotations, sales orders and returns, all with hyperlinks to the direct record. If you desire to capture and store additional customer information you can create fields that record customized information.
Creating invoices is an ease with GBMS, as well. Your staff is given the ability to create invoices for non-inventory items. Additionally, if you combine this module with the WMS module you can generate invoices for inventory items. Finally you can edit invoices for individual shipments; allowing you to edit pricing and discount amounts without having to edit the original sales order. Additionally, you can edit prices with a flexible pricing tool, and schedule discounts.
