Quantum's Material Requirements Planning (MRP) package is designed to close the loop on the material planning cycle by fully interfacing with the Customer Order Processing, Shop Floor Control, Purchase Order and Receiving, and Master Scheduling packages. It is fully integrated with Quantum's manufacturing packages, which themselves are integrated with Quantums accounting packages.
The MRP package has two exclusive features: the ability to use “captured bills of material” taken directly from existing shop orders, and the capability of planning for non-inventory items which are being used by the shop. These features make this MRP much more responsive to the true needs of the shop.
