The Shop Floor Control is used to help control the process of production; including the workers, material, machines, and time used in production. Shop Orders can quickly be created in a number of ways:

  • They can be created from COP orders by utilizing Quantum’s “Auto Create Shop Order” function.
  • MRP firm planned orders can be converted directly into shop orders.
  • They can be copied from existing shop orders, or by building basic, “template type” shop orders.
  • Custom routings can be built directly in Shop Floor Control or they may be merged in from SPR as shop orders are created.
