The Genie Series

FOUNDATION for Windows utilizes Microsoft SQL Server database for unparallel reporting power. Our Genie Series of built-in report, timecard and invoice designers provides an even greater ability to easily customize and create the reports and documents that are needed.

The magic behind DataGenie is the use of “Data Capsules” (patent pending) to simplify report creation. This technology allows the user to write a multitude of reports without needing to understand complex programming logic.

Data Capsules are pre-defined segments of data that are important to contractors. Hundreds of data options are available, for example: current period labor, revised estimated labor or revised period labor.

These segments have been capsulized for efficiency. Data capsules allow even the invoice user to easily select the precise information needed in the report’s columns. A simple click and drag of these customizable query statements helps to identify the information.

Reports can also be quickly created for any desired time period, such as year-to-date, job-to-date or current period. When finished selecting report criteria, the user clicks through an intuitive report wizard. The end result is a custom report with exact information!

TimecardGenie Designer

Creating custom timecards is a snap with the TimecardGenie© (patent pending). The TimecardGenie’s unique technology provides users with the freedom to select from several standard, pre-defined timecard formats or create an unlimited number of custom timecards to meet specific requirements.

Anyone, from the novice to expert, can quickly create timecards with TimecardGenie! Simply open the designer and drag and drop the information needed for your timecard. Headers and body fields are completely customizable, and all fields can be re-sized. Timecards can also be designed to match your company’s field card format, putting an end to unnecessary double entry!

InvoiceGenie Designer

Upon startup, the InvoiceGenie (patent pending) opens into design mode, featuring a palette of options and layout sections. The user is able to modify the heading, document body and summary areas. All fields can be resized and renamed to match your company’s specific terminology.

InvoiceGenie also provides complete font and color control. Bitmap images, such as logos or graphics can effortlessly be inserted into your invoices. The system supports multiple font styles and full color for a custom look that matches your construction company’s stationary.

Once the invoice is designed, the user can quickly review the layout by using the preview function, and then print single or multiple invoices for sending.

InvoiceGenie seamlessly integrates with Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Job Costing Modules.
