SSA Job Cost works closely with SSA General Ledger and other SSA FM components to provide a comprehensive project tracking solution. It automatically accumulates costs and calculates and tracks billing and revenue information for any project, helping fulfill all project reporting requirements. Capital projects can be capitalized within SSA Fixed Assets, and project costs that cross fiscal years can be tracked and reported on with ease. This component also tracks amounts in a hierarchical fashion that lets customers plan and record costs in the work breakdown structure detail they choose for each project. All amounts are stored at every level of the work breakdown structure for fast, accurate summary and detailed inquiry and reporting essential for controlling costs and revenues in any project.
